I've thought about installing 32-bit Windows 7 and then doing an upgrade to 64 bit. Apparently Apple will support it for at least another year. The whole reason for my question was I had the impression that Apple was discontinuing support for this iMac's OS X 10.10.5. And, my iMac will not support Windows 10, just Win7 32bit. It works with mail accounts created using the Outlook Connector as well as Microsoft Exchange accounts. When I plop in Windows 7 Disc I get the infamous 'Select CDROM Boot Type' prompt (that you can't bypass). No need to clean install, just use the Bootcamp feature & purchase Windows 7. During that time, you can still use Outlook since the index is created in the background. On my home system, I have over 14,000 messages from almost 3,000 different senders and it took less than 10 minutes to create the index. Once Xobni Insight is installed, the next time you open Outlook will cause it to create an index of your email. Since that time, I was invited to participate in the beta and have been running it both at work and at home. About a month ago, I talked about a new add-on for Microsoft Outlook called Xobni Insight.
